THIS SUMMER AT LINCOLN CENTER, ETC

I AM SO EXCITED.

My musical, IN THE GREEN, the one I've been working on for literal years, is being produced by Lincoln Center Theater this very year.  And guys, I'm really really excited to share it with you. If you haven't heard me blather on about it yet, IN THE GREEN is inspired by the early life of 12th century mystic and polymath Hildegard von Bingen.  Before she was a composer, scientist, poet, confidant of popes and kings, a saint, she was a little girl locked in a cell. For 30 years she and Jutta von Sponheim lived as ascetic hermits, cloistered from the world, in darkness.  What were the circumstances that lead one of them to embrace death and the other to celebrate the beauty and blemishes of a fully lived life?

The show runs this summer (June 8-August 4) at the Claire Tow Theater and you had better believe I will be SHOUTING once tickets are on sale :)

Until then...
